What if a Kanien'kehaka warrior, dedicated to duty and guided
by dreams meets a red-headed, short-tempered, Irish freedom fighter
on the run? To complicate matters, the Irish rebel, Shannon Maguire--a
skilled healer with a hundred musket reward for her capture--is disguised
as a slow-witted, indentured serving boy to a couple of French traders.
Throw into this mix a match-making uncle (Little Feather's), a smallpox
epidemic, a sadistic traitor, a mysterious Fair Folk woman and a hero
and heroine who strike sparks off each other every step of the way, and
you have the delightful Little Feather's Woman.!

Feel free to read the revised prologue!

(The revision of this book is now complete, and the revised version is now available at xlibris, Amazon, Barns and Noble, Target, etc.

What if a biogenetic engineer--who happens to be an alien with
wings--meets a prosaic Professor of Egyptology who does not
believe in space travel or space aliens and only accepts what can
be scientifically proved? Throw in a little jaunt through time, a
mangy lion, a hungry crocodile, some local people--oh, and don't
forget the dragon, and what do you have? the hilarious
    Joshua Greyman!

Feel free to read the prologue

Joshua Greyman is now available at Xlibris Bookstore, Amazon.com, Alibris Barnes & Noble, Ingram Book Distribution and other locations.

Some books that I highly recommend:

For the aspiring writer:

Reader's Digest Word Finder
This is an excellent combination dictionary and thesaurus.

Reader's Digest Family Word Finder:
This is an excellent thesaurus for any words that might be missing from the Word Finder.

Line by Line by Claire Kehrwald Cook
This book and the next book, I had open all the time I was editing my books.

The Bedford Handbook by Diana Hacker
This book is one of the best and easiest handbooks to follow that I have found.

Two books that provide a unique approach to common health problems--very informative!

Healing Back Pain: The Mind-Body Connection by John E. Sarno
This is a fascinating book that makes a connection between suppressed emotions and all sorts of pain in various parts of the body including migraine. According to the author, most parts of the body that can experience oxygen deprivation can experience pain caused by physical stress that originates within the subconscious mind-a very fascinating, informative, and easily read book!

Low blood Sugar (Hypoglycaemea): The 20th Century Epidemic by Martin L. Budd:
This fascinating book links many physical conditions such as headache, overweight, allergies, food cravings, forgetfulness, pre-menstrual tension, muscular stiffness, stomach cramps, vertigo, fatigue, numbness, blurred vision depression, irritability, asthma, etc., ect., ect. to low blood sugar. The author defines low blood sugar and shows how low blood sugar occurs. He then describes in detail the method by which the low blood sugar causes some of these conditions. It's packed full of information in a small, easily read book.

The Backyard Homestead edited by Carleen Madigan

This is a must read for anyone who wants to grow his/her own food in their backyard. I have a lot of gardening books, but this is definitely my favorite! It explains in easily understood and read descriptions how to prepare soil, plant, tend, and preserve your produce. Again, a must read for the gardener!

Some of my favorite reads on contacting and working with the inner Self

Meditation for Transformation by Samuel Holland
I read this book through in about 2 hours and learned more about meditating than I had from any other book I have ever read!

Pocket Guide to Visualization by Helen Graham
This is a small book (especially for the person who thinks he/she can not learn to visualize) packed full of information.

Dreams, charms & Psychic Signs Micromags
(seems to be a group effort, as I could find no author or editor listed) THis is a delightful little book with a fascinating history of charms and spells. It even describes some spells verbatum from the ancient world!

Are you interested in creating your own website? I created this one, and--of course--am still working on it! My textbook of choice is The COMPLETE IDIOT'S GUIDE to Creating a Web Page.

My hosting site--which I am delighted with and have just renewed my subscription for another two years--can be checked out on the following link webhostingbuzz.com

As I come across more sites or books that I find interesting and informative addressing writing, publishing, natural health, homeschooling, gardening, and other topics, I shall be adding them to my site.

This next is dedicated to my friend Conley who was diagnosed with lung cancer in February, 2006, and died in November, 2006. He underwent all of the chemotherapy and radiation that his doctor recommended--right up to the point when his doctor told him that any more treatment would do more harm than good. Conley died within the month. During that time I asked him if marijuana was legal for medical use in his state (we lived in different states). He said 'no'. (Conley pointed out to me when I was writing the original version of Little Feather's Woman that one bullet would not kill a grizzly--requiring that I change a few words.)

The following link is for of all you people out there who may have lost a loved one to cancer during the past 30 years, may have a loved one with cancer now, or may know someone with cancer now: Pot Shrinks Tumors; Goverment knew in '74

It is a fact that President Obama has told the FBI that there are better uses for their resources than pursuing medical marijuana users, producers, or doctors who prescribe it according to the laws of their states. However, this doesn't make marijuana legal for medical purposes federally.
(Part of the Libertarian platform is to make medical marijuana legal throughout the country.)

DISCLAIMER: Nothing on this whole site should ever be construed as medical advice. It should be construed as information intended to entertain and create a desire for more information (or political action!). In the United States, our lawmaking body (Congress) has passed many laws giving the AMA and the GIANT pharmaceuticals an almost exclusive right to all health issues. There are, however, organizations fighting this near monopoly, and I will from time to time add links to their sites.

I collect no personal information from anyone.

I hope you enjoy your visit to my site and find the links beneficial.
